no one is ever brought before the old ones anymore. but somehow your soul ended up there after your tragic death. you're offered a chance to return to life, but it will require risking your mortal soul in an abyss full of monsters. if you don't make it through the abyss before your soul runs out.. you'll be lost forever...

controls:

E / left-click - attack/interact

Q / right-click - attack/cancel

C / middle-click - swap claws (during encounters)

WASD / arrow keys - movement

special buttons:

+ j - swaps between bgm tracks

+ m - speeds up game (text and motion) while held

+ t - significantly increases your soul clock

+ left-mouse hold - skips intro dialog and retries at game over
